A message dated March 10, 1997, was read stating the Governor has              
signed the following bill and is transmitting the engrossed and enrolled       
copies to the Lieutenant Governors office for permanent filing:                
                                                                               
HOUSE BILL NO. 64                                                             
An Act naming a new maritime vessel for the Alaska Marine                     
Highway System; and providing for an effective date.
